One of William's (and my) favorite things about the holidays is that all of our family gets together. It is one of our traditions for Thanksgiving to get together at Anna's parents house and everyone from my family is invited too. The time of the meal has changed over the year, but several things have not. Everyone is always invited, we come with hearts of thanksgiving and we center ourselves on all God has blessed our family with during good and hard times. I thank God for many things this Thanksgiving and hope that you will make a joyful noise today. Today Anna's parents are going to have a reading of Psalm 100 by various generations of the 30 family members coming to their house today. You can click on the picture above to find other great Thanksgiving traditions you could do with your family.
Here are some other scriptures to meditate on today:
Psalm 107:1 Give thanks to the Lord for He is good, His love endures forever.
Psalm 107:8 Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men.
Psalm 107:22 Let them sacrifice thank offerings and tell of His works with songs of joy.
1 Chronicles 16:8 Oh give thanks to the LORD, call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 In everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
